Star Wars Lightsaber Comes To Nintendo DS July 3, 2008

Once you accept that we will never escape Star Wars merchandising, life get's a little easier. Some merchandising is great while some of it beggars belief.

This time though, I'm in favour, with these official Star Wars styli for the Nintendo DS. After all, we've already had the unofficial Wii Lightsaber so why not?

You have the Nintendo DS Star Wars Lightsaber Stylus 3 Pack and the Nintendo DS Star Wars Light Up Lightsaber Stylus 2 Pack. These look to be licensed by both LucasFilm and Nintendo and are expected to go on sale on Amazon (US) at the end of the month for the very reasonable sums of £4 and £8.50, respectively.

Considering we always lose the original ones, it's good to have replacements - especially the Light Up ones. Hell, even though I still have at least one replacement, I'm thinking of buying these anyway. After all, we're talking [wee] lightsabers here. -Martin Lynch
